Ok smokers, I'm looking into rolling cigarettes by hand. First of all, I love strong cigarettes, and you can't get much stronger then that without putting a bonfire in your mouth. Second, its a hell of a lot cheaper then it is to buy a pack of cigarettes. However, it also takes more skill then just pulling one out of the pack, flicking the lighter and taking a drag.
So here's my question, I know the process, but has anyone who is blind ever done it? Has anyone in zoneland ever rolled their own cigarettes? Is it easy enough to do, is it doable without sighted help?
I'm not expecting to be a james dean or john travolta in pulp fiction or anything, but still, I'd like to be able to. Can anyone help?

For the best tips, tricks and advice on the subject, check out Roll Your Own Magazine at
http://www.ryomagazine.com
It's free and very accessible. They have reviews of rolling machines, filters, papers and tobaccos. But they also review things for MYO (make your own). Basically, you use tubes that look like empty cigarettes. Most have filters already attached. You put the tobacco into a machine and either crank a handle or slide the cover of the machine forward, depending on the kind you have, and the tube fills with tobacco. These are wonderful little devices and if you can get the hang of them, produce excellent-quality smokes. The important thing to note is that the tubes are very fragile and must be handled with care. A good place to buy all of this is

They're still pretty cheap but nowhere near as they used to be. But it's still better than buying the premades at ridiculous prices. Good luck.
